Cattle in Cameroon are of the Holstein-Friesian breedas the, main with all others and all hides are machine flayed. They produce good quality light leathers and are generally free from defects. As cattle is slaughtered early on in their life, they give a very good grain and are mainly used for shoe uppers with some hides suitable for furniture leather.

The hides are collected directly from the abattoirs and all are machine flayed. Within a short time they arrive at our premises, they are salted in pits and are left to cure for a sufficient amount of time to ensure excellent preservation. Once removed from the pits they are left to drain and then packed onto pallets for shipment.
